After another program of suspension development during qualifying, Team PSP were confident of setting a good race pace. However in Round 7 both drivers were sidelined by accidents through no fault of their own after excellent starts. The team worked hard to repair the damaged cars in time for Round 8 where both drivers ran solidly on the pace to the flag.

David Leslie: "We're finding the grip now - but some of the driving out there is very wild. We lost a good chance to score more points in Round 7 but the car went well in Round 8."

Phil Bennett: "I had a great start in Round 7 and was making up places until I got sideswiped on the first lap. I had a good run in round 8 until the car died on the last corner. It's not been my weekend."

Mike Carroll (race director): "The drivers and the team worked really hard here with some cruel luck as their apparent reward. But the drivers are much happier and finding more grip and balance. We learned a lot here."

David Wong ( Team Principal): "I can see progress being made but today we've been very unlucky."
