BTCC DEBUTANT LLOYD LAUNCHES 'THE 500 CLUB'

Just two days ahead of his debut in the country's biggest and most popular motor racing category, the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, Daniel Lloyd is inviting businesses and individuals to take advantage of a new and exciting sponsorship initiative -- The 500 Club.

Launched today, Thursday, 17th June, to coincide with the build-up to his maiden weekend in the BTCC at Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire, 'The 500 Club' is a way for people to get centrally involved in the 18-year-old's career for an investment of just 0x00a3500...and anyone can join.

Affording members the best value sponsorship option in motorsport, joining 'The 500 Club' will offer a wide and varied package of benefits including -- but not limited to -- race car branding, hospitality, driver 'meet and greet' opportunities and the chance to book a personal track day with Daniel.

"The 500 Club is the perfect way for people to get centrally involved with my racing career and to enjoy the sort of benefits that would ordinarily only be associated with four or five figure sponsorship agreements", explained the Huddersfield teenager, "We're confident this offers the best value option of its kind in motorsport."

Having risen through the junior ranks of motorsport with success in national karting, the Ginetta Junior Championship and ELF Renault Clio Cup, this weekend's action, 19th/20th June, marks Daniel's step-up into the big time with his debut in the BTCC.

Driving for multiple championship winning team Triple Eight Race Engineering at the wheel of a Vauxhall Vectra, his weekend will commence with two free practice sessions on Saturday ahead of the all-important qualifying period at approximately 15.15.

On Sunday, the three races are scheduled to take place at midday, 14.40 and 17.15 and each will be screened live on Freeview, digital satellite and cable channel ITV4.
