Henry Mann: "Lotus Cortinas required a lot of finesse...."

Ford Lotus Cortinas wowed the crowds in 1964-65-66, with Jim Clark and other F1 stars three- and sometimes two-wheeling their way around circuits like Brands Hatch, Snetterton and Oulton Park. In celebration of the BTCC's 60th anniversary, we spoke to Henry Mann, whose father, Alan, ran one of the best Lotus Cortina teams in the country. Alan Mann's drivers included Sir John Whitmore, Frank Gardner and Sir Jackie Stewart
