The 2017 season, made of seven events across the country, starts on February 3rd and 4th at the Rallye Perce Neige near Maniwaki, Quebec.

The Canadian Rally Championship (CRC) offers competitors the chance to participate in professional rallies held on various surfaces and different weather conditions.

Last year, Subaru won its second consecutive manufacturer’s title and its 12th Canadian Rally Championship for Marques since joining the CRC.

After overcoming some problems in the first half of the season, Antoine L’Estage won the 2016 Driver’s Championship for Subaru Rally Team Canada, making this his ninth time winning the title. The other half of his team, Darren Garrod, won the co-driver’s title. The duo took their Subaru Impreza WRX STI to the overall victory.

Subaru Rally Team Canada has a change for the 2017 season with co-driver Alan Ockwell returning to the team. Having driven with L’Estage for many years and winning the co-driver title in 2015, Ockwell is sure to make this experienced pairing the quickest car and driver team to ever compete in the CRC.

“I am so excited for the new season,” confessed Antoine L’Estage. “We are very happy to be driving the Subaru WRX STI and are confident that we will get excellent results, including the chance for a 13th title for Subaru.”
