ROUSH FENWAY RACING DONATES CARS TO NC MOTORSPORTS EDUCATION
Five Community Colleges, One University Benefit From Gift

CONCORD, NC (October 11, 2010) - Roush Fenway Racing, which fields cars in the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series', has made a donation of six race cars to motorsports-related education programs in North Carolina.

"Education is imperative to success in any industry or vocational skill," said Jack Roush, owner Roush Fenway Racing. "There is no better investment we can make than to invest in the education of our future employees and managers. Without the proper training we are limiting their success and ours as well. I know these cars will be put to good use and am happy our organization can help."

The following motorsports-related programs at NC colleges are receiving race cars:

- Forsyth Technical Community College, Winston-Salem

- Isothermal Community College, Spindale
- Lenoir Community College, Kinston
- NC A&T State University, Greensboro
- Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Salisbury/Concord
- Sandhills Community College, Pinehurst

"We cannot thank Roush Fenway enough for the generosity to education in North Carolina," said Richmond Gage, Program Head of Motorsports Management Technology at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, and Director of the NC Community College System Motorsports Consortium.

"With the donation of these race cars, students statewide will be able to work with technology used in the motorsports industry, thereby honing necessary skills for future employment. This donation is a continuation of Roush Fenway's commitment to technical training and education, and we are very grateful for their support."
