Barreda loses Dakar lead with second speeding penalty
Joan Barreda has lost the lead of the Dakar Rally for a second time in as many days with another penalty for speeding on a road section.

The Honda rider, after having been penalised by one minute on Tuesday evening, won the fourth stage of the rally by 1m49s from teammate Paulo Goncalves to surge back into the provisional lead of the overall standings.
But a five-minute speeding penalty for Barreda drops the Spaniard down to third in the standings, 3m03s behind newly-promoted stage winner Goncalves, with Kevin Benavides moving up to second.
"We are having problems with the radars, this when we push the gas to the maximum," Barreda told Motorsport.com. "We don't have to give a lot of importance to this, however, because we have had great pace.
"I fell behind a rider and that provoked me being trapped in the dust. But I'm still with the lead group and that's the important thing."
It means Barreda will not have to open the road for Thursday's 327km stage, which takes competitors across the Bolivian border into Uyuni, as he was set to prior to his penalty.
