At the end of the stage, Matt said he did not had a single second without dust, from the start to the end dealing with no clear view. Nevertheless, the director of the team drove very well with no mistakes and taking care of the car.
Navigator Nicolas Ambriz and 2nd driver Luis “Fito” Ramirez said Matt had a great day driving at the dust.
For the 2nd day will be Luis Ramírez Jr. driving in one of the toughest special stages of this year’s Dakar. 518 km of special are the challenge for the second competition day. Hard terrain at the start will be followed by dusty sections in the middle of the day and a sandy stretch to finish. This can be also called as the 1st big filter of the competition. A rough, long nasty day is coming…
