Las Vegas - Safety of local drivers and riders was of primary concern at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway when National Performance Center E.T. Bracket Racing Series finals were postponed due to high winds.
The Pro, Sportsman and Street divisions are scheduled to finish tonight's eliminations on Saturday, May 26, using the same ladders, just prior to that evening's regularly scheduled eliminations.
The Superquick and Motorcycle divisions split the final rounds of the evening. Results will be official Monday morning.=20
This week's Jerry's Nugget Casino Reaction-Time Bonus Awards went to Errol Farmer (Sportsman), Kenny Hodges (Pro E.T.), Andrew Lewis (Motorcycle) and Brian Cole (Street) for having the best reaction time during a winning run in first-round competition.
Street Muscle Madness on The Strip resumes competition this Wednesday. Gates open at 6 p.m. Ticket information is available at www.lvms.com or through the LVMS ticket office at (800) 644-4444.
