Rain Postpones Eliminations

NORWALK, Ohio - 7 p.m. - The rest of Saturday's schedule at the 27th annual Sunoco World Nationals has been postponed to Sunday because of rain.

Professional eliminations rounds are scheduled for 11 a.m. (the partially-completed first round), 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., with all finals at 5 p.m., concluding with two days-worth of fireworks.

First-round pairings for professional eliminations Sunday for the 27th annual Sunoco World Nationals presented by PPG Auto Refinish at Norwalk Raceway Park, the ninth of 12 events in the 2004 Hooters IHRA Drag Racing Series. Pairings based on results in qualifying, which ended Saturday.
