Arvid Lindblad Biography

Arvid Lindblad was a karting sensation when he won the LGM Series and the British Championship in the IAME Cadet series in 2017, giving him the chance to transfer to the European scene, which led to titles and a collection of top-three finishes in OK-J and OK at both European and world championship level.

The Briton also won the inaugural 2020 Champions of the Future event in OK-J, and the WSK Euro Series and Final Cup the following year - succeeding Andrea Kimi Antonelli in the former.

Having joined the Red Bull Junior Team in 2021, Lindblad gained an early experience of single-seater racing in 2022 with a three-round outing in the Italian F4 series. Lindblad’s rapid rise continued by winning the Macau GP (at F4 level) and finishing third in the Italian F4 series in 2023.

In 2024, Lindblad, a two-time Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year finalist, stepped up to Formula 3 where he won on debut in the Bahrain sprint race. Victories also followed in the Spain feature race, and an eye-catching double at Silverstone, before an end-of-season downturn in results saw him fade to fourth place in the standings.

Over the winter heading into 2025, Lindblad won the Formula Regional Oceania Championship, a precursor to his graduation to Formula 2 where he took three wins on his way to sixth place in the championship.

After a handful of TPC outings for Racing Bulls plus three FP1 runs for Red Bull in 2025, Lindblad will make his Formula 1 debut for Racing Bulls in 2026 at the age of 18.
