Isack Hadjar Biography

Isack Hadjar is one of Racing Bull’s drivers for 2025, pairing up with Liam Lawson after previous team-mate Yuki Tsunoda swapped with the Kiwi driver after two races into Red Bull’s seat alongside Max Verstappen.

Making his single-seater debut in 2019 in French F4, he finished seventh that year, before finishing third the following season.

In 2021, he finished fifth in the Formula Regional European Championship, and in 2022, having become a member of the Red Bull junior team, finished fourth in F3.

In his first season in F2 in 2023, he ended up 14th in the championship with Hitech, and for 2024, he moved to Campos Racing.

Hadjar was involved in a title battle with Sauber rookie Gabriel Bortoleto that came down to the final race of the season, but it ended in heartbreak when he stalled on the grid, thus finishing in second, with four race victories.

2025 – Racing Bulls

12th – 51 points

Hadjar’s F1 debut couldn’t have gone worse as he spun out on the formation lap at the wet Australian GP. But the Frenchman quickly dusted himself down and scored his first points in just his third race (and second start) with eighth in Japan.

The 2024 F2 runner-up struck when opportunities came to him, a notable sixth place aided by team-mate Liam Lawson holding the pack up in Monaco, before a five-race run without points on Sunday was ended with a maiden podium in the Dutch GP. It came after Lando Norris dropped out late on with a mechanical failure.

Four further points finishes over the final third of the season cemented his place in the Red Bull pecking order, as his 2026 promotion to the senior team was officially announced before the Abu Dhabi finale.
