Audi teams score points at Hockenheim

ADAC GT Masters: With a brace of sixth positions to its name Team Rosberg was the most successful Audi team at Hockenheim during the third ADAC GT Masters race weekend. In Saturday's race Kenneth Heyer and Michael Ammermuller took three championship points with their Audi R8 LMS, in Sunday's second race they crossed the finish line directly behind their sixth placed team mates Johannes Seidlitz and Bernd Herndlhofer. Christopher Mies and Luca Ludwig for team ABT Sportsline were seventh in the first race, unfortunately they retired on Sunday after a collision.

Mark Eddy claims first podium finish

GT3 Australia: The third Australian GT Championship race weekend at Eastern Creek went successfully for Audi driver Mark Eddy. The old-hand took the first two podium finishes for the Audi R8 LMS in Australia. Eddy finished third in Saturday's race. In Sunday's race he was second only 1.3 seconds behind the winner.

Marcel Tiemann in medically induced coma

International GT Open: Phoenix driver Marcel Tiemann has been placed in a medically induced coma following his heavy accident during a round of the International GT Open at Imola, Italy. A craniocerebral trauma, a fractured cervical vertebra and broken ribs were diagnosed in the clinic in Bologna. The doctors plan to wake the 36-year old German from the induced coma during the normal convalescing process after ten days.

10,000 Euro for a worthy cause

GT Italy: At a benefit gala of well-known auction house Sotheby's in Turin, in which numerous Italian stars participated, dreams which you cannot buy were auctioned - including the possibility to sit alongside Audi "factory" driver Dindo Capello at the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS from Audi Sport Italia, which fetched 10,000 Euro.
