Franchi/Kumpen claim first victory for WRT

Belcar: Greg Franchi and Anthony Kumpen celebrated the first victory in the Belcar Series for the W Racing Team (WRT) which was only established at the start of the season. The two Belgians in an Audi R8 LMS won the three hour race at Spa-Francorchamps, run in extremely hot temperatures, with an advantage of more two minutes. Their team mates Francois Verbist and Bert Longin took the overall championship lead in the Belcar Series after finishing fourth.

Engman records first victory of the season

JTCC: Celebrations in the Ekstrom Junior Team in the Swedish Junior Touring Car Championship (JTCC) at Falkenberg: Kevin Engman took second place with his Audi A3 in the first race. In the second race he crowned the weekend after recording his first victory of the season. As a result, Mattias Ekstrom's protege jumps up to second place in the standings after four of 14 races.
