Brabham Joins Team Modena Line-Up for Jarama
David Brabham has joined the Team Modena squad for the final round of the Le Mans Series at the Jarama circuit in Spain on September 24th. The experienced Australian racer was part of the crew who took a Team Modena Aston Martin DBR9 to ninth overall at this year's Le Mans 24-Hour race, and will share a DBR9 with Antonio Garcia and Peter Hardman in Spain.
Spaniard Garcia goes into the final round just two points behind the leader in the LMGT1 class drivers' championship, and with the addition of Brabham to the team now has a strong chance of claiming the title.
"After our success at Le Mans the team seem have improved the car even more," says Brabham, "so it's good to be back with them. They are a great bunch of guys and Antonio really has a good chance of taking the LMGT1 driver's title, so I'm really looking forward to racing with them."
"It's good to be working with David again," says Team Modena CEO Graham Schultz. "He is a quality driver and great to have in our car for the final LMS race in support of Antonio's title bid."
