Few changes in the Le Mans Series list of competitors
There have been a few recent changes in the llist of competitors of the 1000Km de Catalunya.
In LMP1, we can underline the officialization of the Pescarolo Sport Team for the 1000Km of Catalunya, Thus, Jean-Christophe Boullion and Christophe Tinseau will share the seat of the Pescarolo LMP1 no.16 while Bruce Jouanny will share his wheel with Joao Barbosa on the Pescarolo no.17.
In LMP2, Stuart Moseley joins Pierre Bruneau and Nigel Greensall behind the wheel of the Radical of Bruichlladich-Bruneau.
In LMGT1, Berville, Dumez and Zacchia have been confirmed by Larbre Competition to drive the Saleen. Paul Daniels takes Andy Studenic's place with ARC Bratislava, joining Miro Konopka and Sean Edwards.
In LMGT2, Reiter Engineering's Lamborghini Gallardo of has withdrawn from this first meeting and John Hartshorne, at the wheel of the JMB Racing Ferrari no.99 will be backed up by Yvan Lebon and Romain Ianetta.
Le Mans Series in Barcelona
Very soon, the first, not to be missed, meeting of the Le Mans Series season, the 1000Km of Catalunya, will start.
Yesterday afternoon, Leo Mansell was at the Melcior Colet Museum in Barcelona with the Spanish medias to promote the Le Mans Series race.
Together with Mr Ramon Praderas, Director of the Catalunya Circuit, they presented the Series and its specificities together with the promotion put into action for this event. Mr Praderas emphasized the quality of the drivers of famous names such as Senna, Prost and of course Mansell, names which portend a very exciting season!
After his first steps in Endurance during the official tests at the Paul Ricard, Leo Mansell entrusted that he was impatient to share the wheel of the Modena Team Ferrari F430 GT with Antonio Garcia. We are sure that his father, Nigel, with his experience of this circuit, will give him precious advice which will allow him to shine this week-end!
