#16 Pescarolo Team Pescarolo Judd: Emmanuel Collard, Christophe Tinseau, Julien Jousse

PESCAROLO TEAM AUTOVISION WILL BE AT IMOLA
After a fantastic 22 Hours of Le Mans which saw our Pescarolo n°16 climbing up to a provisional fifth position, getting over the crash and the consecutive DNF that followed, just two hours before the checkered flag, was not an easy business for the team. Poor Emmanuel Collard was even more disappointed, despite a faultless drive. The rest of the gasoline LMP1 pack was far behind, all he had to do was to drive quietly for the next couple of hours. But a sudden and unexpected shower in the Porsche corners, and no yellow and red “slippery condition” flag shown from the race marshals changed the deal. Emmanuel was the first to experience the wet corner, and the first to spin, other followed before the flag was finally waved. The crash was unavoidable.
We first thought that we wouldn’t be able to enter the next round of the LMS Championship at Imola. The car seemed heavily damaged and the schedule too tight. However, everybody was back to work on Monday morning for a full inspection: no harm was done to the carbon frame, we could rebuild a car!
All our partners, from Autovision to Nerim, Renault Rent, La Sarthe, Motul and everyone else gave us testimony of their faithfulness and saluted the admirable job we did at Le Mans. Delighted with the huge press coverage on the Pescarolo Team Autovision during our week, they gave us full support to defend our leadership in the Le Mans Series Championship.
The workload was heavy and the past week has been tiresome but we managed to rebuilt the Pescarolo Judd n°16 in time.
Now, Emmanuel Collard, Christophe Tinseau and Julien Jousse, as the rest of the crew from the Pescarolo Team Autovision, are eager to come back and show that they haven’t lost their edge. Imola, here we come!
