ALGARVE: BOBBI CHARGING FOR THE CLASSIFICATION LEAD

Today's free practice will start the third round of the Le Mans Series at Algarve.

Matteo Bobbi, currently second in classification just a point adrift, will try to repeat together with his crew mates Thomas Biagi and Adrea Piccini, the victory obtained at Barcelona and to get back on to the lead of the championship.

The ''Autodromo Internacional do Algarve" is located near to Portimao, Portugal. Being opened in October 2008 and complying with the highest homologations, it is the most modern circuit to date of the old continent, with a cost of about 195 million Euros. It housed the first official race on 2 November 2008, in occasion of the last race of the Superbike season; the circuit features a karting track, a technologic park, a five stars hotel, a sportive complex and flats. It is a motor-sport citadel covering 300 hectares around the 4.692Km of the track.
