Silverstone: Spyker Squadron preview

SNORAS Spyker Squadron ready for 1000 km of Silverstone.

This weekend SNORAS Spyker Squadron will participate in their last Le Mans Series race this season; the 1000 km of Silverstone. Dutchman Tom Coronel and Czech Jarek Janis will again come in action in their blue and yellow Spyker C8 Laviolette GT2R and hope to score another podium after their 2nd place finish at the Nurburgring just three weeks ago.

Peter van Erp, Managing Director Spyker Squadron: "Our cars have always done well at the English Grand Prix track. We are using the Michelin factory tires at this track for the first time and hope it contributes to continue our good performance as seen in recent LMS races. We will not start with a steady pace, both Tom and Jarek will go for maximum attack as we have the ambition to finalise the season with another good result".

The race will start on Sunday at 11h35 (GMT) and it will take the checkered flag no later than 17h35. Eurosport will broadcast parts of the race live on one of their pan-European sports TV channels and via their online web player.
