MOWLEM HEADS TOWARD SPA, OCHERSLEBEN

SPA, Belgium (Aug. 15, 2007)-- Johnny Mowlem heads for one of his busiest weeks of the 2007 season today, with back to back races at Spa Francorchamps, Belgium (Aug. 18-19), followed by Oschersleben, Germany (Aug. 25-26), with a two day PR trip thrown in between.

Mowlem and GPC Motorsport teammates Luca Drudi and Gabrio Rosa will match their Ferrari GT against the other GT2 teams in the European Le Mans Series race at the famous track. From there, Mowlem flies on to Marrakech, Morroco for some PR work and then returns to the UK for one day before flying to Ochersleben for the latest round of the International GT Open series.

"In the LMS after the first round at Monza, we have been unfortunate with some bad luck and reliability issues, on all occasions when we were running in the top 3, so we're hoping to put that right at Spa and get a good result. Added to that, as all drivers, I love Spa and it's one of the few tracks where it's a joy to drive it, almost regardless of your position!

Mowlem races in two European series this season and the combination keeps him busy.

"Then it's on to Oschersleben and the International GT Open, where we're currently second in the standings and are hoping after our 2 recent second places to take our first victory." Mowlem said. "All of us on the GPC team are pushing toward that goal."
