2007 TEAM BRUICHLADDICH RADICAL ANNOUNCES LMS DRIVERS

Tim Greaves, team owner of Team Bruichladdich Radical has announced Robin Liddell as a new addition to the LMS squad for its first full season of racing. The team made a mid-2006 debut with Tim Greaves and Stuart Moseley when international acclaim was received for the car and its performance. Luck wasn't with them and they were denied the debut season podium that they were looking for. Robin has been brought in to help convert the impressive pace into results for 2007 and to develop the car. Like Stuart and Tim, Robin has a strong Radical history including being a Radical Championship contender in 2000. He will drive all the LMS events with the exception of Monza which clashes with one of his other USA racing commitments.

Tim Greaves, Team Owner: "2007 is about getting results for the team and Robin's going to be a big asset. He's one of the Radical family and I like to bring drivers to the team who have been with us for part of their earlier careers. His experience from then and since can only help us get the podiums and wins that we're looking for. Stuart performed extremely well last year so it was natural for him to retain his position."

"We're going to be starting a comprehensive testing programme shortly including the extensive tyre tests with Dunlop in Estoril and Magny Cours. Everyone saw our pace last season and we should have ironed out all the first season niggles' by the first race. "

Robin Liddell, Driver: "I am absolutely thrilled to be asked to drive the Radical LMP2 car. It reunites me with Radical after I drove for them in 2000 and again in the Enduro series in 2001, winning races in each year and finishing 2nd in the championship twice. At that time I gained valuable experience of endurance racing, and we visited a number of international tracks such as Spa, Zolder and Nurburgring. Since then I have raced internationally in both GT cars and prototypes, and gained valuable experience of the LMP2 class during 2004 when I had 6 class wins in the ALMS including Petit Le Mans. Now I really hope to be able to help Radical convert the great promise and speed the SR9 has shown into race wins. It is always great to be racing at classic sportscar tracks in Europe such as Spa and Nurburgring, and I will be fully committed to this programme as my ALMS commitments allow."

Stuart Moseley, Driver: "It's good to be back with the same team to get some consistency from my point of view and adding Robin to the team is going to be good. We'll be able to work together to make the car competitive and successful. He's got a good pedigree and knows what endurance rading's all about."
