The trio of David Hallyday, Dino Lunardi and David Droux was handed a four-second penalty for not respecting the minimum reference time of the two mandatory pit stops.

After the extra time was added, the Duqueine entry was demoted to second behind the United Autosports car of Alex Brundle, Michael Guasch and Christian England.

The squad continue to have a perfect record in the category as a result as it also won the LMP3 races at Silverstone and Imola.

Although several other cars were investigated for potentially speeding under full-course yellows, no further penalties were handed out.
