AF Corse strenghtens his status in the Blancpain Endurance Series, outstanding continental competition built around the legendary Total 24 Hours of Spa, which will form an essential part of the series. In 2012, the Italian team will line up four Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 and will be a reference of the championship.
The crews will be compose by Gaetano Ardagna Perez-Giuseppe Cirò-Daniel Brown; Jack Gerber-Marco Cioci; Yannick Mallegol-Jean Marc Bachelier-Howard Blanc; Niek Hommerson-Louis Machiels-(third driver TBA).
The opening race of the Blancpain Endurance Series is scheduled for April, 14th and 15th, at Monza. A total of 50 of the world’s most desirable race-bred sportscars will line up on the grid and will be protagonist of the Italian event.
“The Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 is a great car, very competitive from its debuts in 2011 – says Amato Ferrari, team principal of AF Corse -. During the winter, this car has been improved further and will be great protagonist of the Blancpain together our drivers”.
