MARC confirms full Bathurst driver line-up
MARC cars has confirmed the driver line-up for its six-car Invitational Class hit-out at next month’s Bathurst 12 Hour.

The Queensland-based team yesterday confirmed the driver line-up for its GT entry, with Chaz Mostert set to race the BMW M6 alongside Morgan Haber and Max Twigg.
Now, MARC has announced the driver line-up for its fleet of V8-powered Ford Focus and Mazda 3 racers.
The #54 entry will be raced by British Touring Car Championship ace Jeff Smith, alongside Aussie Production Car regulars Tony Alford and Beric Lynton.
MARC regular Keith Kassulke will race the #91 entry, alongside 2016 Formula 4 and Toyota 86 Champion Will Brown and two-time Bathurst 12 Hour winner Rod Salmon, while car #92 will feature Michael Benton, Hadrian Morall, and Aaron Seton.
Car #93 will be raced by Australian GT Trophy class winner Jake Camilleri, along with Jack Smith and Rob Thompson, with Australian Formula Ford Champion Leanne Tander – the first woman to win a national circuit racing title – will spearhead the attacked in car #94 alongside former Formula Ford and Formula Holden regular Tim Leahey, open-wheeler young gun Nick Rowe, and Gerard McLeod.
Geoff Taunton, Jason Busk and Dunlop Series regular Bryce Fullwood complete the line-up in the #95 entry.
“We have six cars and the spread of drivers is such that any one of them should be a contender for the class win,” said team boss Ryan McLeod.
“Our regular drivers, guys like Keith Kassulke, Mick Benton, Jake Camilleri and Tony Alford, have really embraced what we’re trying to do and have helped us put together a sensational team.
“It’s going to be a great race within a race that I’m sure a lot of people are going to be watching.
“We are fortunate because as a team we have got quite good at running multiple cars,” he explained.
“It’s a well-oiled machine now and we’re confident we go into the race in great shape and with six cars that have the same chance of performing on the day.”
