Spa 24: Joel Camathias preview

Joel Camathias is looking forward to compete in his second 24 Hours race ever.

Swiss GT ace Joel Camathias (26), is ready to compete in his second 24 Hours race ever, after he finished second in the GT2 Class at the Belgian marathon in 2005. Joel will drive James Watt Automotive Porsche 997 GT3 RSR alongside his Briton Le Mans Series regular team-mates, Paul Daniels and Dave Cox, a fourth driver should be added.

Team and drivers are looking for this challenge, which is not easy at all. The goal is to try to finish a long race where everything can happen.

"I like Spa and I like the tough challenges, but this not means that it will be easy. The team works very well, Paul [Daniels] and Dave [Cox] are improving a lot and Pirelli, our tyres supplier, will help us to go faster. The mix it`s the right one! We`ll see!"

FIA GT 24 Hours race of Spa (Belgium) will start at 16:00 on July 28.
