Spa 24: Matteo Bobbi preview

MATTEO BOBBI WITH VITAPHONE RACING TEAM AT SPA'S 24H

Matteo Bobbi will be again on track in the FIA GT Championship in occasion of the 24 hours of Spa Francorchamps, a special occasion that haunts with its magic the usually very numerous spectators as well as drivers. The Italian driver will be behind the wheel of the number 2 Maserati MC12 of the Vitaphone Racing Team and he will share the drive with Miguel Ramos, Christian Montanari and Stephane Lemeret. Bobbi centered twice the Belgian podium, first in 2004 with a third place and in 2006 with the second.

Matteo Bobbi:

"I am honoured to take part in one of the most charming races of the world, the 24h of Spa, with a top class team like Vitaphone Racing Team. Two weeks ago, during some testing sessions at the renewed Ardenne's circuit, I drove for the first time ever the MC12 and I was confortable since the beginning.

"During my latest participations to this special race I finished in third and second position: what is missing now is the highest place of the podium!"
