Former Formula 1 driver Adrian Sutil's ultra-rare Koenigsegg One:1 has gone missing. Interpol has launched an investigation into the hypercar, which Autoevolution estimates to be worth $22million.
Built between 2014 and 2015, the Koenigsegg One:1 was the first homologated production car in the world with a power-to-weight ratio of 1:1. Only seven were made, making it an incredibly rare piece of machinery.
Sutil was arrested in November 2025 and placed in pre-trial custody on suspicion of fraud and embezzlement in connection with his incredible car collection. Sutil has strongly denied all of the allegations.
The investigation took a turn after his lawyer, Dirk Schmitz, claimed that Sutil was the victim of a blackmail plot. "The message was clear – cars out, or else," Schmitz said. "These cars are so unique that they can hardly go unnoticed."
Auto Motor und Sport previously reported that Sutil had received an anonymous phone call from someone who went by the name 'Vladimir' and seemed to belong to the Russian Wagner Group.

Sutil's impressive and extensive car collection includes a Mercedes 600, previously owned by the late singer and actor Elvis Presley, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Ferrari California, a Koenigsegg Regera, the Koenigsegg One:1, as well as a number of other sports cars.
The German competed in F1 across seven seasons between 2007 and 2014, recording a total of 128 race starts. After serving as a test driver for Midland F1 in 2006, Sutil made his F1 debut at the 2007 Australian Grand Prix with Spyker.
He remained with the team as it transitioned to Force India, staying until the end of the 2011 season, before returning in 2013 with the same team. He later signed with Sauber for his final season in the championship. The following year, Sutil served as reserve driver for Williams.
