Alexander Rossi sends New Year's greeting

2012 was a year of inspiration.

There are many reasons for thanks and gratitude for American (21), Alexander Rossi, Caterham F1 Team Test Driver. His role with Caterham F1 Team expanded to a multi-year agreement, along with his debut in an F1 Friday practice session at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. This was the first outing on track in an F1 race weekend by an American since 2007. Alexander’s increased duties at Caterham in 2012 were timely, aligned with the return of the wildly successful United States Grand Prix, Austin, Texas and the resurgence of F1 in North America after a five year absence.

“I’m very humbled for the opportunities that have been afforded to me and the many people that believe in my talent and commitment to reach F1,” expressed Rossi. “There are a large number of people behind my effort to reach the top of motorsports; parents, sponsors, investors, my team, their sponsors and Caterham shareholders; Tony and Kamarudin. As a racer, you always want to be on top and that is why I push and work hard every day, this will never change. The relationships and alignment for my future could not be better. There have been several options discussed for my 2013 plans. I will have news for everyone soon. Thank you for your continued support and God Bless”

Team Rossi continues to be grateful as we reflect on the 11 year journey of Alexander’s career. The journey is only beginning and we look forward to the next decade and a new era.
