Malaysia saw Max Verstappen finally score a long overdue second grand prix victory, and one achieved in considerable style.
He not only overtook world championship leader Lewis Hamilton, he subsequently pulled away to win in dominant fashion. As the man himself said, this was the first time that he had a car with which he could win a race on merit, and he took full advantage.
