Now just over half way through the F1 season, this morning's practice session for the Austrian Grand Prix held at A1-Ring, found the Orange Arrows team with good spirits for the race, the A21 cars running well and drivers in good form. Jos Verstappen finished the session in 12th position with a time of 1:13.648, and Pedro de la Rosa in 15th with a time of 1:13.815.

Pedro de la Rosa
"We tried plenty of things today, especially with the tyres. There's a lot to learn from this track and the more rubber the track picks up the faster it gets. Tyre degradation is also very low here but we have to work on improving the under steer, which is our biggest problem and possibly the same for everybody due to the nature of the circuit. This circuit is very different from the others as it is very slippery and the surface not abrasive enough".

Jos Verstappen
"I think we started pretty well this morning. The car felt good on the circuit and during the second session we lost half an hour as we had some problems with the gearbox. We lost some time on set up but 12th position is okay and we can still improve the car for tomorrow. I was running with a lot of fuel and I don't think it looks too bad for qualifying. Hopefully the weather will stay as it is and I feel comfortable with things".
