Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda are back in Valencia for the first day of a 5-day, 4-car test. The Team will run all three BAR004s over the course of the week, as well as last year's BAR003. Both Jacques Villeneuve and Olivier Panis are scheduled to drive for the duration of the test, with both Ryo Fukuda and Anthony Davidson running in the BAR003 for two days each. This comprehensive testing programme will see the Melbourne aero package added to the new car in readiness for the Australian Grand Prix.

Limited running time due to a mechanical problem during the morning session meant that Jacques Villeneuve completed a total of 39 laps, his fastest a 1.14.87 during the afternoon session. Olivier Panis completed 12 laps with a fastest time of 1.16.20. The focus today was on general set-up work in preparation for the remainder of the test.

Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda will run 3 cars tomorrow as Anthony Davidson joins Jacques and Olivier on track.
