Rubens Barrichello is ready to give his all in this year's championship and believes he is definitely in the running to win the title. Most people think that Barrichello will never win the title while Michael Schumacher is driving for Ferrari -- not necessarily because he is not capable but because Schumacher is undisputed Number One.

Last year Ferrari made it clear that it would not let its drivers race against each other, Barrichello not allowed to challenge Schumacher in case it jeopardized the championship. But after a few ill-thought decisions on the team's behalf and with all the rule changes this year -- including the banning of team orders -- perhaps the Brazilian can put up a fight.

"I still dream of being world champion and I'm definitely in the running to win this season's title," Barrichello asserted. "People say that the number two will never win, but...I'm getting older but I'm getting happier and I'm not getting slower."

Former champion Jackie Stewart, whom Barrichello raced for in the late nineties, believes his ex-driver can beat Schumacher and BAR's Jenson Button also thinks Barrichello can give the current champion a hard time.

"I think Rubens is going to really give Michael a run for his money this year," Button said. "He was out-qualifying him at the end of the season and I think that they are on an equal playing field. I don't know if team orders will come into play, but if Rubens can get some points in the bag it will be pretty exciting."
