The team has reduced the number of vertical elements from six to five and taken away one of the strakes that extend from the front of the floor.
The alterations will tweak how the airflow moves rearward over and under the floor with the airflow moving around the sidepods undercut re-directed to improve performance downstream.
At the rear of the W07 the suspension strengthening placed on the car in Austria has been retained too, likely as a precaution in the event of a repeat of the situation that unfolded at the last round.
A change of ERS cooler under the engine cover has led to a change in the shape of the blister employed to cover it. Whilst not fully captured in this image, the winglet that sits under the crash structure and connects with the diffuser has also had another slot placed in it to improve efficiency.
