BRAWN GP AND CERVEJARIA PETROPOLIS EXTEND AGREEMENT FOR BRAZIL
Brawn GP and Cervejaria Petropolis have extended their one-race partnership for the Brazilian Grand Prix to include the Brazilian brewing company's recently launched TNT Energy Drink brand.
Following confirmation that Cervejaria Petropolis would sponsor the current World Championship leaders with their Itaipava beer brand, the new agreement will see TNT Energy Drink joining Itaipava on the Brawn GP cars throughout the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend at the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo.
TNT Energy Drink branding will feature on the airbox and rear wing end plate of the Brawn GP cars with Itaipava branding on the nose, sidepods and rear wing plus the helmets of the team's drivers Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button.
Ross Brawn, Team Principal at Brawn GP said: "We are delighted to have extended our partnership with Cervejaria Petropolis to include their exciting new TNT Energy Drink brand. The Brazilian Grand Prix is always a fantastic occasion, and with the championships set to be decided over the final two races, Interlagos will be hosting a very exciting weekend. We are proud to be associated with a prestigious Brazilian company in Cervejaria Petropolis for their home Grand Prix."
Douglas Costa, Corporate Marketing Manager at Cervejaria Petropolis commented: "The opportunity to promote our newly launched TNT Energy Drink brand on the cars of Brawn GP, the current World Championship leaders, during the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend is extremely exciting for Cervejaria Petropolis. TNT Energy Drink will appeal to both sportspeople and sports spectators throughout Brazil and Formula One is the perfect medium to showcase our new product to a wide audience."
