DHL Jordan Honda's target for the British Grand Prix is a return to its recent points-scoring success, at a race which is significant for the team because its location on the doorstep of Jordan's headquarters means a special weekend is in store for fans, staff and their families.

Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive:

"It's good to be back at Silverstone, because it's where we started from, and it's now our home. We make an effort to bring factory-based staff and their families together to enjoy the race, at the one occasion when we are able to do that. I'm always encouraged by the support from our fans, especially Club Jordan, and the fact that we get a lot of enthusiasm from Ireland, as it's the closest race for Irish fans, makes the event even more special."

Preparations for the Grand Prix were part of the programme at last week's three-day test in Barcelona. Takuma Sato drove on the 25th and 26th and Fisichella took over on the 27th, completing a combined total of 219 laps in EJ12 chassis 02. The team carried out work on control systems, suspension, Honda's engine development programme, brakes, practice starts, front wing aerodynamics and Bridgestone's tyre test programme for the British Grand Prix.

Gary Anderson, Director of Race and Test Engineering:

"Silverstone is a fairly tough track which demands the car to be good aerodynamically, mechanically and in terms of power, so it will be challenging in every respect. It should suit us better if it's a wet weekend, but there are never any guarantees. It's good to be racing at home, and hopefully it will be a good race for our fans."

Giancarlo Fisichella:

"Silverstone is one of my favourite circuits and I'm doubly committed because it is Jordan's home race and we need to re-start our positive series of results which unfortunately halted in Nurburgring."

Takuma Sato:

"I'm looking forward to Silverstone as I competed here in British Formula 3 last year and I see it as a home race. I think it is a good track for Jordan because we often test here and hopefully we will be in good shape."
