28 overtakes were recorded in the British GP, 12 of them courtesy of Hamilton, who dropped to the back of the pack after being hit by Raikkonen on lap 1.

Charles Leclerc retired with a loose wheel nut, while Marcus Ericsson crashed out of the race, marking Sauber's first double DNF since last year's Monaco GP.
