Broken fixing caused Massa's woes in qualifying
A broken fixing within the turbo wastegate of his Mercedes Formula 1 engine was the cause of Felipe Massa's qualifying woes at the Canadian Grand Prix.

The Williams driver failed to make it out of Q1 in Montreal after complaining about a lack of power.
Subsequent investigation by his team confirmed where the issue was, and that a simple parts replacement should cure his issue for the race.
Williams head of performance Rob Smedley explained: "It was the fixing within the wastegate mechanism of the turbocharger that failed. So it will be changed for tomorrow.
"That was the physical reason and it effectively meant in very, very simple terms that he didn't have any power.
"It was very difficult to charge the battery with the hybrid system from the MGU-H, so effectively we were just missing lots of power."
Target to beat Red Bull
Although Massa will start 15th, thanks to Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel's penalties, Smedley said the target was still to beat main title rivals Red Bull.
"The hope is that he can get his car in front of the two Red Bull cars," he said.
"The championship has evolved in to us being out in third position, with Red Bull behind.
"I think the number one priority with him tomorrow is to ensure that he outscores at least one of their cars to help us increase that gap back to third, as hopefully Valtteri [Bottas] will help us do as well."
