The Canadian Grand Prix bodes well for DHL Jordan Honda as it has brought significant results for Jordan in the past, the earliest in 1991 when Andrea de Cesaris and Bertrand Gachot finished 4th and 5th to score the team's first points in Formula One. In 1995 Rubens Barrichello and Eddie Irvine achieved Jordan's first double podium with their respective 2nd and 3rd places, and two years later Giancarlo Fisichella, in his first year with Jordan, had his first F1 podium with 3rd place.

Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive

"Canada brings back fantastic memories because our first ever points were scored there in 1991. In the current situation, however, with the strength of some of the teams currently at the top, a 4th and 5th result like we had in 1991 would be outstanding. The Montreal circuit has been kind to us at times and also unkind in certain respects, but I've always liked the Canadian Grand Prix, as it's a good race in a nice city and it is a welcome break in the middle of the European season."

Gary Anderson, Director of Race and Test Engineering

"There are two things you need to do a good job in Montreal. One is horse-power and the other is decent brakes. It's all about straight line speed and stopping at the end of it! We have a new material for the brakes but to optimise that, it really needs to be put to the test on the circuit so we will wait and see. We will be on the limit with the brakes as usual in Canada but hopefully we should be okay."

Giancarlo Fisichella

"I'm looking forward to Canada, especially after two good races. This has been a great race for me in the past as I've been on the podium four times. My first podium in Formula One was in Canada `97 with Jordan and I'm looking forward to racing with Jordan again here because the car looks good. I'm particularly confident now that we have scored a few points and I think we just need to improve our performance in qualifying as the car looks very competitive in the race."

Takuma Sato

"I've spent a day and half testing in the changeable weather at Silverstone and we have done a few things in preparation for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve at Montreal is one of the F1 circuits that I have never been to, and I am looking forward to racing there."
