Jean Todt:
“I think that in view of the changing weather conditions which everyone had expected, this can be considered a good qualifying performance. We went out at the right time, although the rain which arrived halfway through meant we could not exploit all our options. After the usual fight with our closest rivals we have a car on each of the two front rows. Now we can expect another battle in tomorrow’s race. We are ready for it and I think that as usual the three key factors will be the start, the strategy and reliability. For the race both cars will be fitted with the same engine as used in qualifying”

Michael Schumacher:
“I am not disappointed with second place. I am sure I could have gone quicker, especially as I made a mistake at Turn 5 on my quick run – the same mistake happened again on my very last attempt also. Starting from the front row will allow us to work out a good strategy for the race. I am happy with the car and as we are competitive, I hope we have straightforward weather conditions tomorrow.

Rubens Barrichello:
“I am happy with the performance of the car. On my first run, I made a small mistake when I came across a damp patch on one corner. On my second run I went better but the track conditions were not yet at their best. The rain began just as I was about to start my third run and I did not want to take any risks as the track immediately became very slippery. I am confident for the race as I have found a set-up which suits me. With better weather conditions, I think I could have been on the front row.”
