Ferrari's celebratory party weekend came to an end on Sunday at the Prancing Horse's track of Fiaorano, where the Togni Circus put up its Big Top. For once, it was not the Maranello race cars which were the stars at Fiorano, but hippopotami, rhinoceroses, horses, camels and zebras. There were two performances; one at 11 in the morning and another at half past three in the afternoon. At the morning show, amongst the audience were Ferrari President, Luca di Montezemolo, with his wife Ludovica and daughter Guia, as well as Piero Ferrari, Jean Todt, Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello.

Towards the end of the show, special guests in the form of Michael, Rubens and Jean Todt, as well as two other members of the audience, went up on stage to take part in a very entertaining and impromptu concert. It's easy to imagine what this unusual orchestra sounded like!

Everyone was on a great form, despite a late night the previous day, when the traditional victory concert was held at the Palamalaguti di Bologna, where special guests like Eric Clapton played for a long time as did the famous Italian group Pooh, all expertly held together by master of ceremonies Gerry Scotti.

Great fun was had by young and old alike. At the end of the day, Michael Schumacher said: "These past two days have been marvellous and it's been really great to spend them with all the people whose efforts have been fundamental in making this an unforgettable season."

However, even on a party day, the Scuderia's work continued: while the circus was underway at Fiorano, over at the Mugello circuit, Luciano Burti continued development testing for next season.
