Circuit: Circuito Permanente de Velocidad, Jerez de la Frontera -- 4.428 km
Driver: Felipe Massa
Car: Ferrari F10
Weather: air temperature 10/14 C, track temperature 11/14 C. Overcast, rain in the first hour of the morning and at the end of the afternoon, very windy, track never completely dry.
Second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro and ten other teams at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in Andalusia.
Once again, the day was affected by bad weather, with rain and gusts of wind making it difficult to get through Felipe Massa's planned programme, as he continued at the wheel of the F10. Furthermore, a mechanical fault meant the Brazilian had to spend a couple of hours in the pits. In the afternoon, the team also worked on various procedural aspects of a race weekend, including pit stops.
In total, Massa completed 92 laps, the quickest in a time of 1.28.879.
Testing continues at this track tomorrow, with Fernando Alonso driving.
Exceptional guest at Ferrari box
Jerez de la Frontera, 18 February -- At the end of the day the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working in Jerez at the preparations for the upcoming Formula 1 Championship, welcomed a very special guest.
Emilio Botin, Banco Santander President, wanted to follow a test session while the team is working in Spain. Botin greeted Felipe Massa inbetween the laps and also spoke with Fernando Alonso, who showed him the Scuderia's box.
