First day of testing this week for the 2001 world championship winning team. Today in Mugello, Luca Badoer and Rubens Barrichello were driving. The two men worked mainly on set up and electronics with the F2001 and also did some tyre testing.

The day began at 9.45 and ended at 17.35, when the track was wet due to the rain. Of the two Ferrari men, only Barrichello ran in the rain. Nick Heidfeld (Sauber) and Jean Alesi (Mugello) were also testing.
