Third and final day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari-Marlboro on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit.

Today, Michael Schumacher handed over Eddie Irvine. The German driver was the quickest on the track, with a best time of 1m 23.83s. He also did the highest number of laps, 76. Schumacher concentrated on testing variou tyre compounds and constructions as well as some car components.

Luca Badoer continued to use the long wheelbase version of the F 300, to try various mechanical evolutions for the 1999 car. He covered a total of 52 laps, the quickest in 1m 26.31.

Neither car had any particular problems.
