Friday June 3rd was the last day of testing for the week and the action was split between Silverstone and Monza. Kimi Raikkonen topped the times again at the British track with a best of 1:16.953, and McLaren teammate Juan Pablo Montoya was fifth overall. Both worked on tyres for the British Grand Prix today, although Montoya was hampered by an oil leak that required a gearbox change.

"I am very happy with how the test went this week," said Raikkonen. "I completed our scheduled programme without any problems and have some positive results, after having covered more than three Grands Prix distances with my engine yesterday and today. I am now looking forward to getting back on track in Montreal next Friday."
Ralf Schumacher was second quickest for Toyota, around a second and a half down on Raikkonen, and he was followed by his teammate Jarno Trulli in third. Trulli worked at both Monza and Silverstone this week, his focus tyres and aerodynamics, while Ralf was solely at the UK track, also working on tyres.
"On Friday we concentrated on more tyre development, this time on longer runs and had some good results," said Trulli. "I lost a bit of time in the morning with a precautionary engine change and then we had some typical British weather, which at least allowed us to do some running with intermediate tyres in the afternoon."
Giancarlo Fisichella was the lead Renault in fourth and Fernando Alonso was seventh of the 12 drivers on track. Renault opted not to run on Wednesday due to bad weather, to save a test day, but the drivers were on track for Thursday and Friday to work on set up and tyres. Alonso suffered mechanical problems today but it was a productive test overall.
Mark Webber was sixth for Williams and team test driver Nico Rosberg was ninth on the time sheet. "In addition to tyre work, we also worked on set-ups, tested a few different aero parts in readiness for the Canadian GP and signed off some new mechanical parts for the water system," said technical director Sam Michael about the three-day test.
Red Bull's David Coulthard and Christian Klien were eighth and 10th respectively and the team also had Scott Speed behind the wheel, the American rounding off the times in 12th. Speed will be Red Bull's third driver for Montreal and Indianapolis, while Klien will return to the race seat which Tonio Liuzzi has been occupying.
"The weather was not so good which made it tricky to get as much work done as we planned," said Klien. "However, we tried some new bits on the aerodynamic side, as well as some electronic modifications, which we will use in Canada and hopefully they will bring us a little step forward. For sure I am really looking forward to be racing again."
At Monza it was Ferrari test driver Marc Gen? who was the quickest of the four drivers on track, with a best of 1:21.428. He concluded a programme of tyre development and aerodynamics. BAR testers Anthony Davidson and Enrique Bernoldi were second and fourth respectively, although a clutch problem for Bernoldi resulted in a gearbox and engine change in the morning.
Once back on Bernoldi then spun off into the gravel after only a dozen laps. In the afternoon he focused on tyres, while Davidson had a trouble free day working on set up and tyres. He also took the latest spec Honda engine to its target mileage. Sauber's Felipe Massa was the other driver at Monza and was third overall, his focus being tyres and aerodynamics.
