The Spanish Grand Prix was perhaps Mercedes' most emphatic of its run of 2019 Formula 1 one-twos so far.

On the weekend where Ferrari had brought an engine upgrade forward in the hope of hitting back, it was kept right off the podium by Red Bull.

But as Julia Piquet recounts in her pick of the five most important takeaways from the weekend, there were more dramatic flashpoints in the ultra-close battle for 'best of the rest' or 'Class B' honours further back in the pack.
