Lewis Hamilton is now within touching distance of Michael Schumacher's record of seven world titles and 91 victories. The Briton could conceivably reach those totals before the end of his current Mercedes deal, but it may not be that simple.
Will he or won't he? Can Lewis Hamilton match Michael Schumacher's record of seven world championships and 91 victories? It's a question that's been asked before, and not just of Hamilton, but the closer the now five-time world champion gets, the less fatuous it seems.
