Ferrari takes 4th team title with Bridgestone

Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro clinched its 4th consecutive World Constructors' Championship with Bridgestone in a classic one-two finish for its drivers Rubens Barrichello and Michael Schumacher. It is the second year in a row that the team has secured the title at the Hungarian Grand Prix - but this time it was the Brazilian driver who led the race from pole to flag. Today's win is Barrichello's second of the season and lifts him into second place in the drivers' table.

This latest championship is the 10th to be won on Bridgestone tyres since the company joined Formula 1 in 1997, its collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari and Michael Schumacher bringing seven of those titles.

Meanwhile, Giancarlo Fisichella and Felipe Massa, who were running in 4th and 5th place respectively for most of the race, had to settle for 6th and 7th, both having lost position to McLaren-Mercedes drivers after the second pit-stops. Six Bridgestone cars finished in the top ten.
