Hungarian GP Saturday Sauber notes

Pedro Diniz:
Thirteenth isn't a bad position to start this race, considering that losing time in free practice this morning hampered us setting up the car for qualifying. Technically the track was still very slippery and dusty, which made it hard to optimise the car, and then I lost two of my runs because of traffic.

We timed my second run really well as the clouds came overhead, and it was just as well because that was the only run I had this afternoon when I didn't get traffic of some sort. It's really close here, and for the sake of two tenths of a second I could have been sixth. But ninth is a good place. In a race this hard, you can do something from ninth on the grid.

Peter Sauber:
We achieved our goal, to be in the top 10 this afternoon. Congratulations to Mika and the team, for their good timing. Our performance proved that ninth place in the starting line-up was won on merit and not by fluke. Pedro`s best opportunity was spoiled by traffic, which explains his position.
