Jaguar's Antonio Pizzonia answers questions ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix

Q: Another launch control issue in Spain. Has this been fixed following your three-day test at the Paul Ricard Circuit last week?

Antonio Pizzonia: Let's hope so! The team and I have worked on this area both at the factory and at Paul Ricard. We believe that we have found the root cause and one thing is for sure, that this is not the same issue that we suffered in Imola. I am confident, however, that we have found a fix.

Q: Have you raced previously at the A1-Ring, and if not, how will you be preparing for the race?

AP: I have raced at the track before, but I would certainly not say that it was one I knew well. I like a challenge however, and I know that there are some good overtaking opportunities available. I am going to be making the most of Friday as always as this is a great help in preparation for Saturday's qualifying.

Q: How is the R4 now compared to the beginning of the season?

AP: The R4 was conceived as a good car and we have definitely built on that since Australia. I understand more about the car now and that is a huge benefit when I am providing feedback to my engineers. I am now looking forward to continuing on the development of the R4 with the team to take it to where it should be on the grid. The potential of the package has been a little diluted by the reliability issues we suffered during the first few races but given Mark's 7th place finish in Barcelona, I hope that's behind us now.

Q: What is the possibility of challenging for points at the Austrian GP?

AP: As I said, it is not a track I know well, however, we have spent a lot of time this week working on our set-up package and with the right qualifying and race strategy there is no reason why we cannot challenge for points. To be honest I am looking forward to finishing and if we can grab some points along the way then all the better. We have the pace, balance, power and tyres to be competitive this weekend but let's see what the weather has in store for us before we begin making predictions.
