Jordan Grand Prix today announces Damovo as its official business communications partner. Damovo, launched in September 2001, is a new name to enter the Formula One sponsorship arena, joining the Silverstone based team on a three year deal.

Commenting on the new signing, which comes two days before the Jordan announces a new title sponsorship at the launch of the Jordan Honda EJ12 in Brussels (on Friday 22nd) Chief Executive, Eddie Jordan said,“ Business communications are increasingly important to Formula One teams, and it is important to ensure that we have the assistance of the best companies. Damovo is an exciting young business and we are excited about the potential they offer. We are looking forward to benefiting from their expertise in Voice Data and Mobility and to working with them for mutual success.”

Damovo CEO, Pearse Flynn:“ I am really excited about this partnership. The synergy between Jordan and Damovo is enormous and will energise our own company, partners and clients, driving our success. Damovo will be working closely with Jordan to create communications systems that will give them the competitive edge. Jordan and Damovo approach their respective fields with a groundbreaking mind-set, combining skills and technology to deliver results. We share the same entrepreneurial hunger for success and are both open to innovation. Formula One is a popular marketing tool in Damovo’s market place and demands the attention of our target audience.”

Damovo’s logo will feature on the livery of Jordan’s 2002 World Championship challenger, the Jordan Honda EJ12, as well as on the overalls of the team’s drivers, Giancarlo Fisichella and Takuma Sato.
