Eddie Jordan is pleased to announce his endorsement of the racing career of Adam Langley-Khan, Eurocup Formula Renault V6 DAMS Team driver.

Renowned for his shrewd business acumen and skill for spotting and nuturing future talent, the Jordan Grand Prix Chief Executive decided to guide the 17-year-old British driver's motor racing career.

Eddie Jordan said: "Adam shows great promise and I want to encourage him in every way. The early stages of a career in motor racing can be tough and I try to provide advice to young up-and-coming drivers whenever I can. I have every confidence in him and wish him all the best."

Expressing his delight Langley-Khan said: "I am very excited and honoured that Eddie Jordan has endorsed my racing career. This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I feel very proud that someone of Eddie Jordan's stature is standing by my side to guide my future racing career."

Competing in the 2003 Eurocup Formula Renault V6 series marks Langley-Khan's first full season in motor racing. He began racing with an intensive course at the BRDC Silverstone Racing School in 2001 and in the same year competed in a number of Junior Formula Ford races.

The following year he contested four races in the BRDC Formula 3 Winter Series (Scholarship Class), winning his class and finishing third overall in only his second Formula 3 race, surviving monsoon conditions at Rockingham Speedway; a feat that earned him 'Drive of the Day' from Motorsport News. Remarkably the young Formula 3 rookie finished runner-up (Scholarship Class) in the BRDC Formula 3 Winter Series.

Langley-Khan was born on 24 May 1985 in Bridlington, Yorkshire and currently lives in Alicante, Spain.
